Welcome! If you're joining me from Cali Girl in a Southern World, I'm so glad you're here. I am so thrilled to be part of this fall tablescape blog hop. It's so much fun seeing different styles and being inspired by others. I have never been a big fan of orange decor so I love that we're seeing more and more blues and greens in fall decor. That's much more to my liking. Erin from Cotton Stem Interiors (check her out here) designed my dining room, and I'm in love with her wood slice wall art idea. It's perfect for a woodworker like me.

For fall, I made a pumpkin patch sign to hang between the wood slices. On the other side is a Christmas tree farm sign so I just have to flip it around after Thanksgiving.
I filled my dough bowl from Decor Steals with blue, green, and white pumpkins. I added hydrangeas and mums for added texture. All the pumpkins and greenery are from Michaels. The colors here tie in to the colors on the table.

I have always dreamed of having a really long table that would fit my whole family since we host a lot of holidays and parties. This space is supposed to be the formal living room, but I made it the dining room since it could fit the table I wanted. The table is a whopping 12' in length, and I built it myself out of pecan and table legs from Osborne Wood (check them out here).

Centerpieces can be tricky for a table so long, but I knew I wanted a long line of pumpkins marching down the table. I used the same blue, green, and white hues with a couple gold pumpkins thrown in. I used 2 garlands of greenery as my base so flowers and leaves peek out from under the pumpkins.

I especially love the place settings for my fall tablescape. I wanted to keep it simple and clean since the centerpiece is so busy. The chargers are shiplap chargers I make myself out of real shiplap (you can buy them here). The plates were on clearance from Wal-Mart (you can buy them here). The napkins (set of 12 found at Home Goods for $14) are a pale sage to match the soft colors of the pumpkins. The place cards are leftover wood slices from the wood slice wall art project. I have had excellent luck with the slices found here on Amazon. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut names from vinyl that I stuck to the slices. You could just as easily use a Sharpie, though.

I love the scalloped edges of these plates. I'm always a proponent of white plates since they go with any table setting, but I love the added interest of these plates.

This basket of pumpkins is covering up the wrinkles on this slipcovered chair from IKEA. I love these gorgeously chunky legs from Osborne Wood Products. I stained them with Varathane Briarsmoke. I added screw caps to cover the screws holding the apron to the legs.
